- Believe in the power of advertising. You’re either already investing in different advertising platforms to grow your business or you’ve been reading and planning to start one very soon. (Like tomorrow soon.)
- Your product or service works period! If I’m going to write sales copies for you, it has to work. If you’re not using your own product or service, it’s a probable sign you don’t trust in it enough.
- You’re open to criticism and feedback. Sure you’re the expert in your business and understand the system inside out. But for us to work together, there are a number of copywriting and psychological elements which I understand about sales copy. (I’ll voice my opinion on what I think will help your business grow.)
- Deadlines, deadlines and deadlines. You want your copy by your deadline and likewise, I’ll need the information and details by my deadline as well. I’ll give you my all but you have to do the same for me.
- You have a budget for marketing. Every single writing project of mine goes through 5 phases. I no longer do projects based on profit sharing agreements for a number of reasons. So for us to work together, I’ll need an initial deposit to get started.
It’s not that I’m trying to be particular and fussy, (okay maybe a little,) I’m restricted like everyone else by a very important resource… Time.
I have to select project I know I can deliver on.
If I feel that I cannot help you, I’ll let you know upfront. This way all of us benefits.
There is no reason for me to throw away my reputation by not delivering and end up wasting both your investment and our time.
